The unique contest that supports local schools and charities launches third annual Charity Cup Challenge at Rogers Place.
The five team captains each went to their schools to brainstorm ideas for their videos and fundraising efforts with the students.
The third season of Hockey Helps Kids is officially underway after it launched at D.S. MacKenzie School with the help of 600 junior high students. This year there are five team captains, Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Patrick Maroon, Milan Lucic and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.
